Paneer Paratha Recipe Ingredients
- For dough:
- 2 cups Whole Wheat flour (atta
- 2/3 cups Water
- 1 tsp Ghee
- For stuffing:
- 200 gram Paneer
- 2 tbsp Onion, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp Coriander, finely chopped
- 1 Green Chillies, finely chopped
- 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- Ghee or oil for roasting
How to Prepare
- Start by taking whole wheat flour (atta) in a bowl. Gradually add small amounts of water and knead the mixture into a soft, smooth dough. Keep adding water as needed to achieve the right consistency. Once done, cover the dough and let it rest for about 20 minutes.
- For the stuffing, grate paneer into fine pieces. Add finely chopped green chilies, fresh coriander, onions, and your preferred spices. Mix everything thoroughly, ensuring the filling is evenly combined, then set it aside.
- Take a small portion of the rested dough and roll it out into a rough circle. Place a spoonful of the paneer mixture in the center, carefully sealing the edges to enclose the filling. Flatten the dough and roll it out again, using dry flour as needed to prevent sticking. Repeat the process to prepare more parathas.
- When you’ve rolled the paratha to about half an inch thick, heat a tawa (griddle). Place the paratha on the hot tawa and allow it to cook on one side. Meanwhile, apply a little ghee or oil on the top side.
- Flip the paratha and cook the other side. Gently press it with a spatula to ensure even cooking. Add more ghee or oil as necessary before flipping it again.
- Once the paratha is golden brown and well-cooked on both sides, remove it from the heat. Serve your delicious parathas with dahi (yogurt), chutney, or your favorite pickle for a flavorful meal!
