Haryali Subz Pulao Recipe Ingredients

For the haryali puree:

  1. 1 cup mint leaves
  2. 1 cup coriander leaves
  3. 1 cup spinach
  4. 2-3 green chilies

For the Pulao

  1. 1 cup onions , finely chopped
  2. 2 potatoes , chopped
  3. 3-4 pieces sliced ginger
  4. 2 cup cooked basmati rice
  5. 3-4 ghee and oil
  6. Spices – 3-4 elaichi
  7. 2 cloves
  8. 1 bay leaf
  9. 2-3 cinnamon sticks
  10. 1 cup peas
  11. 1 cup cauliflower
  12. 3 cups water
  13. Salt to taste

How to Prepare

  1. Boil rice until soft, strain the water, and set the rice aside.
  2. Make a paste using mint, coriander, chilies, and spinach.
  3. Boil peas and set them aside.
  4. In a pan, heat oil and add whole spices. Add chopped vegetables and boiled peas. Pour in some water and cook for 10 minutes.
  5. Add the green paste to the vegetables and cook until combined.
  6. Season with salt and mix well.
  7. Once the paste and vegetables are fully cooked, add the cooked rice.
  8. Gently mix everything together and set it aside.
  9. Add a little ghee and serve the rice hot.
