Ingredients of Phool Makhane Ki Kheer

  • 1 Cup MAKHANA
  • 500 ml MILK
  • 3 tbsp GHEE
  • 3-4 PCS(POWDERED) GREEN CARDAMOM
  • 4-5 pieces RAISINS
  • 100 gram SUGAR 100 GMS
  • 4-5 pieces SAFFRON THREADS

How to Prepare

  • Boil the Milk: In a thick-bottomed pan, boil milk until it reduces to half its original quantity.
  • Sauté the Makhana: In a separate pan, heat ghee and sauté the makhana (lotus seeds) until they turn golden brown, then remove from heat.
  • Combine Ingredients: Add the roasted makhana, sugar, and green cardamom to the reduced milk. Stir constantly until fragrant.
  • Garnish and Serve: Let the kheer cool down. Garnish with cashews and saffron, and serve chilled.
