Ingredients of Phool Makhane Ki Kheer
- 1 Cup MAKHANA
- 500 ml MILK
- 3 tbsp GHEE
- 3-4 PCS(POWDERED) GREEN CARDAMOM
- 4-5 pieces RAISINS
- 100 gram SUGAR 100 GMS
- 4-5 pieces SAFFRON THREADS
How to Prepare
- Boil the Milk: In a thick-bottomed pan, boil milk until it reduces to half its original quantity.
- Sauté the Makhana: In a separate pan, heat ghee and sauté the makhana (lotus seeds) until they turn golden brown, then remove from heat.
- Combine Ingredients: Add the roasted makhana, sugar, and green cardamom to the reduced milk. Stir constantly until fragrant.
- Garnish and Serve: Let the kheer cool down. Garnish with cashews and saffron, and serve chilled.
